'TIS THE SEASON FOR DISCOUNTED CLASSES AND HOLIDAY FUN

During each class or small group training you’ll receive a safe, full body workout, using a variety of training methods (stability ball, foam roller, Pilates, dumbbells, body weight exercises, resistance bands, etc.). Locations, class size, registration requirements and your ability to bring children are noted below. Please plan to bring a water bottle and yoga mat. You should check with your physician or obstetrician to make sure you are cleared for exercise. No previous exercise experience necessary and all levels welcome. 

Locations

  • Northern Liberties: small group training sessions are held in my home studio. Children of all ages are welcome. Maximum participants: 4.
  • South Philly: small group training sessions are held at Lume Creative Learning Studios at 1916 E. Passyunk Ave. The space is most appropriate for immobile babies and children 2 years and older that will participate in the free art session. Maximum participants: 6
  • Fishtown: classes are held at PlayArts Phily at 1241 N. Front st. The class is designed for caregivers and their 3-4 year old children. Immobile babies are also welcome to watch. Maximum participants: 10
  • Queen Village: classes are held at Shot Tower Recreation Center at 101 Carpenter st. The class is open to adults and their children of any age. Maximum participants: none
  • Washington Square: small group training sessions are held at Hall Mercer at 245 S. 8th st. Children of all ages are welcome (note there are children's climbing structures in the space). Maximum participants: 7
 

Active Pregnancy|50 minutes|$10

Who is this class for? Mamas-to-be during any point in your pregnancy looking to safely exercise while taking into account the changes to your body. If you’re looking to strengthen your muscles to help with posture, pregnancy discomforts and prepare for labor and delivery then this class is for you. 

  • Tuesdays @ Lume 12-12:50 pm, drop-ins welcome, registration preferred.
  • Wednesdays @Northern Liberties home studio 5:30-6:20 pm, registration required.

Stronger After Pregnancy|60 minutes|$12

Who is this class for?Moms that are feeling weak and are ready to rebuild your core and overall strength. If you’re ready to take your first step to fitness after having a baby, this class is for you. Most moms are 6 weeks to 12 months postpartum, but all are welcome.

  • Tuesdays @ Lume 10:45-11:45 am, drop-ins welcome, registration preferred.
  • Tuesdays @Northern Liberties home studio 6:30-7:30 pm, registration required.
  • Thursdays @Hall Mercer 10:30-11:30 am, drop-ins welcome, registration preferred

REGISTER FOR FITNESS AND HOLIDAY FUN!

HIIT plus HABIT (high intensity interval training plus hips, abs, butt, inner thigh)|45-60 minutes|$10-12

Who is this class for?Moms looking for an effective full body interval workout that emphasizes hips, abs, butt and inner thighs. If you’re ready to push yourself with moderate to high intensity exercise, this class is for you. If you’re early postpartum and haven’t yet focused on rebuilding your core and/or have pain with squats and lunges, this may not be the best format for you.

  • Tuesdays @ Lume 9:45-10:30 am, drop-ins welcome, registration preferred.
  • Wednesdays @Shot Tower 9:15-10:15, drop-ins welcome, registration preferred.
  • Wednesdays @Northern Liberties home studio 5:30-6:20 pm, registration required.
  • Thursdays @Hall Mercer 12:30-1:20 pm, drop-ins welcome, registration preferred.

My Family Moves!|45 minutes|free

Who is this class for?Caregivers and their 3-4 year olds looking to move and be active together. This class uses play, imagination and traditional exercise to blend a fun activity session for the kiddos with a sweaty workout session for caregivers.

  • Tuesdays @ PlayArts Philly 4-4:45 pm, drop-ins welcome, registration preferred. *Does not include access to play space, but they'd love to have you stay in play! More info on play space here*
