Heavier breasts, rounded shoulders, and a bigger belly are just some of the changes your body will go through that will and should impact your fitness routine. Strength and core training will help you to adapt to those changes during and after pregnancy. The problem is only 20% of moms remain physically active, and the biggest barrier is not having enough guidance. These training options will provide you the support you need to feel strong and confident through motherhood.

 

Your Training Options

If you’re pregnant, taking your first steps toward fitness after having a baby, or haven’t been able to balance fitness and family, it’s highly recommended that you start with the Signature Active Mom Fitness Consult (required before beginning private training sessions).

All fitness levels and stages of motherhood are welcome. Immobile babies are welcome if childcare is a barrier.

Signature Active Mom Fitness Consult

You probably feel unsure about whether the workouts you’re doing are safe. You feel overwhelmed trying to navigate all of the prenatal and postpartum fitness advice on the internet. You feel confused about what type of exercise program will be the most beneficial for you. You’re finding it hard to determine what type of routine works with your busy mom schedule. The personalized consultation session is your essential step toward a personalized fitness journey. Available as a teleconsult for moms outside of Philadelphia.

 

Private Training

It’s understandable if you’re feeling like you need some one-on-one guidance during this time. We know that your energy levels will fluctuate and your schedule may be a little less predictable. Private training provides you with flexible scheduling (reschedule up to 8 hours prior to the session), collaboration with your physical therapist if helpful, and individualized guidance. Choose from studio or virtual sessions.

  1. You can review the calendar to get an idea of availability before purchase.

  2. Purchase and schedule your Exercise Consult before scheduling training sessions (mandatory). Make sure to create an account for easier scheduling.

  3. After your personalized consult session, purchase a package based on your needs

  4. While logged in, schedule your sessions. The calendar is released on the 15th for the next month (e.g.: June is released on May 15th). Schedule week to week or for the entire month…it’s up to you!

 

Small Group Training for All Stages of Motherhood

All fitness levels are welcome. Groups are designed to meet your unique needs at each stage of motherhood from bumps to babies and beyond! All groups are held in the Active Mom Fitness studio.

Active Pregnancy: you can join this group as soon as you find out you’re pregnant or anytime up until your due date!

Stronger After Pregnancy: if you’re taking your first steps toward fitness after having a baby, join us!

Fitness for Moms: if you’re beyond postpartum and are ready to feel strong and confident moving through motherhood, this group will help you achieve your fitness goals!
